Travel by Air to Kathmandu

Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu is connected to many major cities of the world. All the foreign delegates coming by Air will be received at the airport by KaSAM-2016 volunteers. Please provide your flight details to Ram Adhikari (nepalpolymer@yahoo.com) as soon as possible. 

Transfer from Kathmandu to Pokhara

We have made an arrangement to transfer all the foreign delegates from Kathmandu to Pokhara on Oct. 16, 2016 by an early Bus Shuttle. The delegates willing to utilize this option are requested to contact Mr. Kedar Nath DHAKAL (E-mail: kedarchemistry@gmail.com). Please book your transfer no later than Sept 30. The cost of transfer will be in the range of 15-30 USD per person.

Limited rooms are reserved for the KaSAM-2016 delegates in the conference hotel at reduced rates. The rates mentioned below is per person per night including breakfast: 

Single occupancy=  75 USD plus about 24% taxes                                              Twin sharing= 48 USD plus about 24% taxes

(2) Alternate Hotels

Delegates may book their accommodations in nearby hotels as well. There are more than 250 tourist category hotels and lodges in Pokhara which provides lodging and fooding from backpackers to deluxe ranges. Please keep in mind that there will be NO shuttle service to and from the conference centre.

NOTES:

If foreign delegates need inexpensive accommodation with reasonable facilities, please send your request to Mr. Bishnu NEUPANE (E-mail: bnsudesh8@gmail.com Tel No. 9841533885) mentioning the number of nights you wish to stay in Pokhara.

Delegates from SAARC countries seeking reasonable accommodations are also requested to contact Mr. Komal MALLA (E-mail: komalmalla1971@gmail.com Tel No: 9846058862).

Nepalese delegates coming from outside of  Pokhara are requested to arrange their accommodations and transfer to and from conference centre by themselves. If you need any suggestions, please consult Mr. Anil GAUTAM (Tel. No. 9846725846)

Transfer from Pokhara to Kathmandu

Since the delegates have opted  to stay at different hotels for different duration, transfer from Pokhara to Kathmandu after the conference will only be arranged on prior  request. For further discussion, please contact to  Mr. Kedar Nath DHAKAL (E-mail: kedarchemistry@gmail.com) no later than Sept 30.

Pokhara-Chitwan-Biratnagar-Kathmandu Transfer

Transfer of delegates contributing to the educational outreach program <<KASChem 2016>> in Chitwan and Biratnagar will be arranged and paid by the organizing committee. Cultural Program at Sauraha (Chitwan National Park): Dinner with cultural program will be arranged in Sauraha (at Chitwan National Park) on Oct 21, 2016 evening following an excursion. The fees for this program will be notified later.
